These "T" Series Tillers were designed for high horsepower tractors to produce a finished seedbed in a single pass. For crops such as vegetables, timing is everything. The basic plow, disc, cultivator tilling operation requires too many passes, wasted fuel, and causes excessive compaction. At a depth of 10 inches, the saber tines produce a uniform mixture of loose, textured soil that holds moisture and reduces erosion. There is no better tool for preparation of seedbeds and incorporating crop residue.
